While beautiful creatures around the world, most people see that horses are exceptionally stunning animals with their natural strength and athleticism. They are undoubtedly incredible animals, but few identified how diverse their appearances can be.
I’ve seen a lot of animals in my time, but horses take a special place and I‘ve seen them in all colors and sizes – but I haven’t quite seen like a ‘curly.
It comes from an extra special gene in their body that gifts them curly hair and makes their hair hypoallergenic (a bonus for hay fever-prone or asthmatic horse owners!).
Curlies’ thick and snuggly coats make them suitable for snowy weather, so they are far more general in places with colder climates, especially in winter. You never forget the first time you see one of these horses. A horse this unique in appearance leaves a blooming impression long after it’s gone. Â
However, you didn’t hear about them earlier, they’ve been around in the wild for a long time in this beautiful animal world.
They were spotted in South America within the nineteenth century, and they have been featured in Chinese artwork courting back as far as 161 AD. Sioux Indians held curlies in high regard and have been taken as transportation horses for chiefs and medicine men. Their origin is still massively challenged among experts.
Regardless of their root, one thing that is for sure is their ability to delight and captivate their spectators.
Whether they are working, playing, or just socializing with each other and the people around them, these curly-haired horses are truly a sight. Once you see such fine curly animals, you’ll find it hard to ever look at other horses the same way again.
This beautiful animal proves that we are living in a beautiful world along with different creatures.
