Even while the animal kingdom is full of the most improbable of friendships, we shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that conflicts are also a natural aspect of the animal kingdom, in which the predator chases the prey. The tale we will tell you today is about a hawk who had the legitimacy of his position questioned. In our story, the majestic Hawk was searching for something to eat when he came upon a duck. The duck was a potential meal for the Hawk.

The duck was oblivious to the mighty Hawk’s presence as it lazily stretched out on a patch of grass and preened itself. The Hawk was caught aback by the duck’s apparent challenge to his authority, and this caused him to go into shock. The predatory prey bird could not tolerate being dismissed in such a way. There was also the reality that this Hawk did not want his duty as a violent hunter to be disregarded by a pathetic duck, mainly because the duck was an uneven opponent.

The Hawk became angry since he could not instil fear in this bird despite the fact that it didn’t appear as though the duck was aware of the hunting strategy the Hawk was using. The Hawk was unaware that the duck it was attempting to catch was nothing more than a phony figurine or decoy. This is the reason why the duck is not frightened by the presence of the bird of prey that is nearby.

To your good fortune, we have video footage of the entire event, and you can rest assured that it will make you laugh out loud. The confused Hawk flaps its wings and makes a few frantic attempts to intimidate and win over the peculiar-looking duck for a brief period. The Hawk can be seen looking around every once in a while, almost as if he wants to make sure that he isn’t being taken advantage of by another individual. At first, the Hawk hasty approach the duck while reaching out with its claws to seize the prey.

The Hawk then travels around the duck and places its claws all over its body as if attempting to wake the duck from a deep sleep. This happens when the Hawk observes that there is no reaction coming from the other end of the interaction. Ultimately, all of his laborious efforts are fruitless, and the bird of prey eventually throws in the towel and departs in quest of a more deserving foe. This Hawk will not likely forget the day he was defeated by a phony duck soon.
