Nothing brings people closer to tears of happiness than a wedding.
When his father, US Marine Corps sergeant Joshua Newville, married Senior Airman Emily Leehan in Ripley, New York, a few years ago, four-year-old Gage gained invaluable life experience.
It was not long before Gage’s father’s new bride began reciting the vows she had composed especially for him. Then the emotional collapse started.

Standing behind his father as he exchanged vows with Senior Airman Emily Leehan, his future wife, Gage Newville felt a twinge of pride.
Little did the four-year-old know that Leehan had written a special set of vows specifically for him. Gage felt overwhelmed by the event as she introduced them to an already emotional audience.
At the first note of Leehan’s performance, Gage broke down in sobs. Leehan reportedly stated, “I want you to be safe, to try your hardest, and to be a nice person,” according to the Daily Mail.

Gage gave her a sudden embrace and lost control of his feelings before she could say anything more.
There was a collective “awwww” from the audience as Leehan tried to comfort him. “Do not cry, sweetheart,” she comforted him, even if it made sense for him to require a vacation from punishment at that particular time.

“I want you to realize that you are a remarkable young man,” Leehan went on. You are incredibly charming, intelligent, and kind to other people. You undoubtedly enhanced my life even if I may not have brought you into it, your presence has had a significant impact on who I have become.
It was hardly shocking that before saying wedding vows, Leehan and Newville were both overcome with tears. When Leehan began her vows, Gage not only drew everyone’s attention with his stunning suit and innocent gaze, but he also made a move that will melt people’s hearts everywhere.

According to ABC7, Leehan and Newville, who recently tied the knot, were unable to immediately embark on their honeymoon since they were required to remain on active duty following their wedding. Rather, they resumed their married life at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
