Following two decades of television appearances, fans are now suggesting that the do-it-yourself TV personality shouldPennington, also known as Gary Tygert Burton, is a 58-year-old complete moron. He enjoys posting amusing videos of himself performing wild dancing movements on Instagram to make people laugh. Pennington, who considers himself a jack-of-all-trades, has a great sense of humor. He was the face of J-Crew and was once a model. While he was studying painting, he worked in construction and considered becoming a graphic designer.

He nearly lost his life in a serious vehicle accident when he was 27 and his modeling career was over. This, to him, was a sign that he should turn around and get into carpentry.

Working as a set designer for Nicholas Cage’s 1995 film Leaving Las Vegas, Pennington first gained recognition in Hollywood. But what really made him famous was his work as a builder on Trading Spaces, a show that revolutionized the way people thought about remodeling their homes.

After departing from Trading Spaces, Pennington earned two Primetime Emmy Awards while hosting Extreme Makeover: Home Edition from 2003 until 2012.

Popular Modern Family actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson assumed hosting duties for the 11th season of the program and ten of the episodes during its 2020 return. Pennington wrote, “I will not lie, that definitely crushed my pride,” on Instagram. I was really bewildered and found it difficult to handle. I began to doubt my abilities, experience, and self-assurance. However, this job was never about me! It really has been and always will be among the most amazing events of my life.

Pennington’s career continued after that; in 2018 and 2019, he got back up, pulled on his boots, and returned for two more seasons of the Trading Spaces revival.

In addition to hosting the fourth season of Rock the Block, Pennington is currently a mentor and design expert on HGTV’s Battle on the Beach, which is currently in its third season.

He wrote: “What started out as an innocent attempt to make my wife laugh was subsequently dissected by strangers—with many opinions, come many hates!” Remarks such as “gross,” “disgusting,” “grandpa,” “he became fat,” “omg he is so old now,” etc.And I pondered whether I would receive the same remarks if I was still in good health. “Maybe we should extend the same grace to males as we do to women? There has been such a force behind tolerating all shapes and sizes and aging in the female community, which is AWESOME (keep it coming),” he said.

Pennington, a beloved character on TLC’s Trading Spaces, made the observation that he was much younger when he made his television debut.

“Every day, I get a ton of comments like, ‘NOOOo, what happened to him????’ The other day, I heard someone say, “lack of exercise,” which I hope was accurate! Seven days a week, I work out harder than I have ever worked out in my life (this over 50 sh*t is no joke). It is been 22 years since my television debut, so here’s what happened! He penned. “No, I may not have a six pack or a gorgeous head of hair with frosted tips anymore, but at 57 years old, I have never been happier! I do, however, have wisdom, empathy, and life lessons! All of this is to indicate, nevertheless, that I am a human being with feelings. Yes, I am older, but that is kind of cool, in my opinion.
