On their fields, rats and bugs are a constant source of concern for farmers. In addition to eating crops, these pests can spread illness. But a mouse was found in a cannabis field in New Brunswick, Canada. The small creature was discovered unconscious and seemed “stoned” as it lay on its back.

Discovering a “Stoned” Mouse atop a Cannabis Leaf Stack
For two days in a row, Colin Sullivan observed a little mouse stealing leaves from his garden. He had seen photos of the mouse chowing down on leaves before to its illness. The rodent was discovered unconscious atop a heap of foliage.

To make the mouse feel better, Sullivan placed it in a cage. The mouse returned to its wild home after six days.

The plant’s owner posted a humorous anecdote on Facebook, saying, “I witnessed this little troublemaker eating on leaves from my plant until he falls asleep two days in a row.”

Since he is deaf, it is possible that he is attempting to treat his PTSD on his own, but I think it is time to intervene and assist him. This time, I will let him sleep it off, but I am going to have a serious conversation with him when he wakes up.

Sullivan informed his supporters a few days later that the mouse remained in his transparent prison.

He said that our little baked friend has been going through a difficult period lately, with intense food cravings and stomach aches, but he thinks he will soon recover.

He now only consumes one medium leaf per day, and it appears that he is growing accustomed to it. My friend, just remember to take things one day at a time.

The mouse was released from “rehab” after three days. Sullivan used a number of clever jokes to inform everyone about the mouse’s sobriety.

Regarding The Rat To Salvation.

This little mouse has triumphed over his lengthy battle with addiction and is now prepared to go on. It is critical that we all band together to help people who are attempting to make changes in their life. He earned his first Twelve Step chip by working hard.

He may have released himself from his cage, but I was the one who opened it. I will miss you, buddy. I will see you later!

The “Stoner Mouse” Gains Notoriety
Over 461,000 people shared the original post, and over 6,400 people shared the final version, which received 1,500 comments full of jokes and joyous laughter.

“I am delighted to hear that he is getting better,” said Cody Myshrall.

“I can easily envision Cheech the mouse saying, ‘Wow, that was a crazy journey,'” said Rhyll O’Keefe. I do not know where I was, but I got locked up somehow.

Wendy Chaplin said, “It is difficult to give up! I appreciate you watching out for the young stoner.

Sullivan is well-versed in drug detoxification. Following his resolution of the mouse issue, he penned a heartfelt ode to his wife, Robyn Sullivan. He said that she both saved his life and is the main cause of his extended period of sobriety.

Many of the comments on the post expressed their support for the humorous mouse, but in the end, they liked the heartfelt message and Sullivan’s sobriety.

The Cannabis Laws of New Brunswick.
Cannabis became legal in Canada in 2018, but the way the drug is regulated varies by province and territory.

“We are creating a safe, legal, and responsible culture for adults with our choices, actions, and laws,” the New Brunswick government states on its website. Our priorities are informing the public about health issues and maximizing the financial gains from this emerging sector.

Cannabis is only sold by licensed vendors in this area, and users must be at least 19 years old to consume it. The daily possession cap is thirty grams. Both cannabis usage in cars and public consumption are completely prohibited. It is the power of landlords to forbid tenants from smoking or growing cannabis on their property. However, they are powerless to stop people from consuming cannabis if smoking tobacco is permitted.

In order to make informed decisions about their own personal use of cannabis, individuals of New Brunswick must be aware of the possible risks involved.
