“The baggage claim scanning procedure may be interfered with if someone ties a ribbon to identify their bags. The bag may not make it onto the scheduled aircraft if it cannot be automatically scanned and must be processed by hand.
Should the scanner be unable to correctly scan your bag that is tied with a ribbon, it may be disregarded for the duration of the trip. That is undoubtedly not a risk that is worthwhile.
John advises taking out any stickers that have expired from your luggage. These stickers have the potential to cause delays or missing luggage by confusing the scanning process. Although nostalgic travel stickers are lovely, it could be necessary to part with them in order to make the journey run more smoothly.
John also provided a helpful advice, which is to face upwards the wheels of your bag. You may keep your suitcase problem-free and prevent damage to the wheels by adhering to this straightforward advice.
If you love to bake or have a sweet tooth, do not pack marzipan in your luggage. John explains that marzipan has a density similar to some explosives because it is made of sugar, egg, and ground almonds. This can result in a thorough examination of you and your possessions, which might make you miss your flight. Just think of the hassle it would create to have your luggage examined and tested for a tiny amount of almond paste. It does not make sense to let marzipan keep you from going on vacation!
