To be very honest, even though it is illegal to consume alcohol before the age of 21, a lot of students still have the want to have one or two drinks before they hit that mark. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that some people, even after learning that it is forbidden, are tempted to bring alcohol into places like prom.
However, how can alcohol be brought into schools covertly?
Eleanor, one of the girls, came up with a rather clever approach. Although we do not support it for kids, her cunning strategy gained a lot of attention online.
Eleanor took a picture of herself and her pals, and here’s the really funny part: Eleanor had a hip flask that was deftly “hidden” in plain sight, yet none else saw it.
Her strategy? She carried the large flask like a clutch bag, blending it into her outfit with ease. The silver flask was inconspicuous, looking more like a fashion piece than a flask filled with alcoholic beverages.
Paradoxically, if Eleanor had not announced her victory, her scheme would never have been found.
It is still unclear if Eleanor’s flask actually contained alcohol, but she was happy with how well the plan worked out.
She said on X (previously Twitter), “I still can not believe I got away with carrying a large hip flask as my prom handbag.”
She reportedly purchased the flask at Tiger for around $12.
